# CVE-2025-12536: SureForms <= 1.13.1 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Sensitive Information Exposure - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2025-11-13 - CVSS: 5.3 MEDIUM (v3.1) - EPSS: 0.8% (58th percentile) - CWE: CWE-359 The SureForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.13.1 via the '_srfm_email_notification' post meta registration. This is due to setting the 'auth_callback' parameter to '__return_true', which allows unauthenticated access to the metadata. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including email notification configurations, which frequently contain vendor-provided CRM/help desk dropbox addresses, CC/BCC recipients, and notification templates that can be abused to inject malicious data into downstream systems. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2026-09-16 | 307 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### F5 - 2026-09-16 · new · rule 200009368 > Added: signature 200009368 "SureForms WordPress Plugin Information Leakage" (Information Leakage, risk Medium), systems: WordPress.
