# CVE-2025-13486: Advanced Custom Fields: Extended 0.9.0.5 - 0.9.1.1 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution in prepare_form - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2025-12-03 - CVSS: 9.8 CRITICAL (v3.1) - EPSS: 67.6% (99th percentile) - CWE: CWE-94 The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in versions 0.9.0.5 through 0.9.1.1 via the prepare_form() function. This is due to the function accepting user input and then passing that through call_user_func_array(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server, which can be leveraged to inject backdoors or create new administrative user accounts. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2026-01-20 | 48 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### F5 - 2026-01-20 · new · rule 200204054 > Added: signature 200204054 "Wordpress Advanced Custom Fields Plugin Remote Code Execution" (Server Side Code Injection, risk High), systems: WordPress.
