# CVE-2025-3277: SQLite sqlite - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2025-04-14 - CVSS: 6.9 MEDIUM (v4.0) - EPSS: 1.3% (69th percentile) - CWE: CWE-122 An integer overflow can be triggered in SQLite’s `concat_ws()` function. The resulting, truncated integer is then used to allocate a buffer. When SQLite then writes the resulting string to the buffer, it uses the original, untruncated size and thus a wild Heap Buffer overflow of size ~4GB can be triggered. This can result in arbitrary code execution. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2025-06-30 | 77 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### F5 - 2025-06-30 · new · rule 200011101 > Added: signature 200011101 "SQLite concat_ws Integer Overflow (Parameter)" (Buffer Overflow, risk Low), systems: SQLite.
