# CVE-2025-47812: Wing FTP Server Improper Neutralization of Null Byte or NUL Character Vulnerability - Exploited (CISA KEV): yes, added 2025-07-14 - Published: 2025-07-10 - CVSS: 10 CRITICAL (v3.1) - EPSS: 93.9% (100th percentile) - CWE: CWE-158 In Wing FTP Server before 7.4.4. the user and admin web interfaces mishandle '\0' bytes, ultimately allowing injection of arbitrary Lua code into user session files. This can be used to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the FTP service (root or SYSTEM by default). This is thus a remote code execution vulnerability that guarantees a total server compromise. This is also exploitable via anonymous FTP accounts. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | Blocks by default | 2025-07-21 | 11 | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2025-08-15 | 36 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### Cloudflare - 2025-07-21 · new · rule 0e17d8761f1a47d5a744a75b5199b58a · default Block > Wing FTP Server - Remote Code Execution - CVE:CVE-2025-47812.
