# CVE-2025-49132: Pterodactyl Panel Allows Unauthenticated Arbitrary Remote Code Execution - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2025-06-20 - CVSS: 10 CRITICAL (v3.1) - EPSS: 54.5% (99th percentile) - CWE: CWE-94 Pterodactyl is a free, open-source game server management panel. Prior to version 1.11.11, using the /locales/locale.json with the locale and namespace query parameters, a malicious actor is able to execute arbitrary code without being authenticated. With the ability to execute arbitrary code it could be used to gain access to the Panel's server, read credentials from the Panel's config, extract sensitive information from the database, access files of servers managed by the panel, etc. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.11. There are no software workarounds for this vulnerability, but use of an external Web Application Firewall (WAF) could help mitigate this attack. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2025-08-15 | 56 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### F5 - 2025-08-15 · new · rule 200007099 > Added: signature 200007099 "Pterodactyl Panel Directory Traversal" (Path Traversal, risk High), systems: PHP.
