# CVE-2025-5947: Service Finder Bookings <= 6.0 - Authentication Bypass via User Switch Cookie - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2025-08-01 - CVSS: 9.8 CRITICAL (v3.1) - EPSS: 4.9% (92th percentile) - CWE: CWE-639 The Service Finder Bookings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.0. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's cookie value prior to logging them in through the service_finder_switch_back() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to login as any user including admins. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | Rule published | 2026-07-07 | 340 | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### F5 - 2026-07-07 · new · rule 200013189 > Added: signature 200013189 "WordPress Service Finder Bookings Plugin Authentication Bypass" (Authentication/Authorization Attacks, risk High), systems: WordPress.
