# CVE-2026-81181: SysReptor: Session Fixation in Password-Protected Shared Notes - Exploited (CISA KEV): no - Published: 2026-09-18 - CVSS: 3.7 LOW (v3.1) - EPSS: no score - CWE: CWE-384 SysReptor is a fully customizable pentest reporting platform. Prior to 2026.68, the password authentication flow for protected shared notes does not rotate the session identifier after successful authentication, allowing session fixation. An attacker who can obtain an unauthenticated SysReptor session cookie, place it in a victim's browser, and know the shared-note URL where the victim authenticates can reuse the fixed session after the victim enters the correct password and access that shared note. The main SysReptor login flow is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 2026.68. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | No public claim | — | — | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | No public claim | — | — | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ## Social 3 posts seen since 2026-11-02. - bluesky 2026-11-02: CVE-2026-81181: SysReptor session fixation lets an attacker hijack authenticated shared-note sessions. In both cases generic rules may still block it. HTML: https://cve.vigilbase.com/cve/CVE-2026-81181 · JSON: https://cve.vigilbase.com/api/v1/cves/CVE-2026-81181
