# CVE-2026-94127: F5 BIG-IP APM Heap-based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability - Exploited (CISA KEV): yes, added 2026-09-22 - Published: 2026-09-22 - CVSS: 9.3 CRITICAL (v4.0) - EPSS: 26.6% (98th percentile) - CWE: CWE-122 When a BIG-IP APM access policy and an OAuth profile are configured on a virtual server, specific malicious traffic can lead to remote code execution (RCE). This vulnerability is only present when BIG-IP APM is configured as an OAuth Authorization Server. Deployments using APM strictly as an OAuth Client / Resource Server (without OAuth authorization server profiles configured) are not affected by this vulnerability. Impact: This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform remote code execution. The BIG-IP system in Appliance mode is also vulnerable. This is a data plane issue; there is no control plane exposure. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. ## Edge WAF coverage (claimed by vendors, not measured) | Vendor | Status | First rule | Days after publication | |---|---|---|---| | Cloudflare | Blocks by default | 2026-10-06 | 14 | | AWS | No public claim | — | — | | Microsoft Azure | No public claim | — | — | | Google Cloud | No public claim | — | — | | Fastly | Before feed history | — | — | | F5 | No public claim | — | — | | Akamai | No public source | — | — | | OWASP CRS | No public claim | — | — | ### Cloudflare - 2026-10-06 · new · rule f0c31de76290471e842c77ca7206c737 · default Block > F5 BIG-IP - UnAuth Heap-Overflow - CVE:CVE-2026-94127.
